Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve this website. When enabled, it collects page views, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions such as scrolling, outbound links, site searches, form interactions, supported video activity, and file downloads. Not every page supports every interaction. We do not send form contents to Analytics.

Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_, to distinguish browsers and visits. Google normally sets these cookies for up to two years and may renew them during later visits. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalization, or optional account data sharing.

Your choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Québec, Analytics stays off until you accept it. Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject, or withdraw consent. Accepting is optional and does not affect access to the website. We remember your choice on this browser for 180 days.

In the United States, Analytics can run without a consent prompt. In Switzerland, Analytics can run with an Analytics settings control in the footer that lets you disable it. These measurements support our interest in understanding website use. We also honor Global Privacy Control by disabling Analytics. Analytics stays off in other locations and when we cannot determine the applicable location rules.

You can block Analytics through browser controls or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Clearing browser storage removes a saved choice.

Service providers and data

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and uses connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and determine the country or region for the rules above. This location check does not send your location to a separate location service.

Google processes analytics data on our behalf, including on infrastructure outside your country. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Analytics event data is retained for two months. User data is retained for 14 months, with that period renewed by new activity. Aggregate reports may remain available longer. We do not sell your personal information or use this site's Analytics data for targeted advertising.

If you email us, we use the information in your message to respond and manage the correspondence. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.
